Pantry labels with your names on them

A stylish addition to any kitchen: each pack holds 24 labels, 70 × 70 mm, on two sheets of twelve, three across and four down, on matte white synthetic label stock, self-adhesive and resistant to oil and water. Every label carries a name and its own QR Pantry code, printed to order. Peel, stick, done: a shelf of matching jars and canisters, and each one knows what it is.

The lavish Monte Carlo style brings a little elegance to the pantry: every name in a classic high-contrast serif, the subtitle in a fine script beneath and a small flourish either side of the code, for those who like their shelves a touch more refined.

Start from a set, or design your own

Six ready-made sets cover most pantries, 24 names each, printed exactly as pictured. Every set has its own run of numbers, so any packs you combine sit in one sequence and never repeat one:

  • Baking (No. 1 to 24): five flours, the sugars, cocoa, cornflour, the raising agents, yeast, custard powder, choc chips, coconut, sultanas, sprinkles and gelatine.
  • Everyday pantry (No. 25 to 48): the most-used canisters: the flours and sugars, rice, pasta, oats, cereal, coffee, tea, biscuits, crackers, breadcrumbs, lentils and chickpeas.
  • Grains & pasta (No. 49 to 72): six rices, quinoa, couscous, barley, polenta, buckwheat, freekeh, eight pastas, rice noodles, red lentils, chickpeas and split peas.
  • Breakfast (No. 73 to 96): oats, muesli, granola, cornflakes, wheat biscuits, bran, puffed rice, the seeds and dried fruit, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, sugar and pancake mix.
  • Snacks & treats (No. 97 to 120): biscuits, cookies, crackers, pretzels, popcorn, chips, lollies, chocolate, marshmallows, muesli bars, trail mix, nuts, rice cakes, wafers and shortbread.
  • Nuts & seeds (No. 121 to 144): eleven nuts, pepitas, sunflower, chia, linseeds, sesame, hemp and poppy seeds, dates, cranberries, apricots, prunes, goji berries and coconut.

Want a few changes, or a pack of your own names? On qrpantry.com choose Design your own and the builder opens: start from any set and change what you like, or begin with a blank pack and type your own names, up to 24 characters each. Number the labels, add a subtitle, and leave any label blank to print as a plain QR Pantry label you can name in the app. The proof fills in as you type, so the pack you see is the pack you get.

What the code does

Stick a label on the jar and scan it with your phone. The jar lands in your QR Pantry with its name already filled in. Add the best-before date and the app keeps track of it: QR Pantry sends a reminder to your phone before the date arrives, so nothing sits forgotten at the back of the shelf, and when a jar runs low a tap puts it on your shopping list. Scan again whenever you refill or want to check. The free app is all you need, and the labels work as ordinary labels without it.
