Made to stay put
Smart Storage Labels use a strong adhesive on water- and oil-resistant material. They’re not made to be peeled off and moved.
Avoid applying them directly to delicate, valuable or easily damaged surfaces. Test on an inconspicuous area first if you’re unsure.

Yes. Every Starter Pack has its own QR codes, so it never repeats a code you already have, and its numbers carry on from the labels you own.
Do the labels stop working if I do not subscribe?
No. The labels work with the free QR Pantry app indefinitely; there is no subscription requirement. QR Pantry Pro is an optional upgrade, not a condition of use.
Do I need the app to use the labels?
Yes. Scanning a label opens the free QR Pantry app, which is where your food details live. It runs in your phone’s browser with a free account, no download needed; there is also an Android app on Google Play, and an iPhone app on the App Store.
Can I reuse QR Pantry labels?
Yes, the Smart Pantry, Fridge and Freezer Labels are designed to be reused. When the food is finished, scan the QR code and update or clear the saved details, then use the same label for the next item. The label stays on the container; only the digital record changes.
The Smart Freezer Bag and Meal Prep Labels are the exception. They are made to grip freezer bags, zip bags and vac-sealed bags, and they are not recommended for reuse. When the bag is empty, tap Used up and the item is off your list, with nothing to clear and no empty container to keep track of.
Can I add photos of what is inside?
Yes. Every item can carry one photo on the free plan, and QR Pantry Pro lets you capture more food and storage images.
